Fabricated Galvanized Steel Dock Connection Set

I built a 5 ft. by 7 ft. dock to anchor out in my pond using 4 of these floats. The floats arrived quickly and just as advertised. They seem to be made of thick plastic and durable. I am hoping that they last for years to come.

It’s a solid wheel. Definitely stronger than the standard wheels.

Make sure you deduct the weight of the float against your overall weigh. The float weighs about 31 pounds. The float supports 380 pounds, so deduct 31 = 349 pounds. 349/12"= 29 pounds/inch So each inch of float supports 29 pounds. Thats how you figure how low in the water your dock will be and how many floats you need to support it.
