Product Description
Eagle Floats dock floats are engineered for long-term durability in freshwater or saltwater environments. Each float features a rotationally molded polyethylene shell filled with solid EPS foam to eliminate leaks and prevent waterlogging. UV stabilizers and impact-resistant materials ensure season-after-season performance in any climate.
Installation is quick and flexible — molded-in mounting slots allow easy attachment to both wood and metal dock frames. Whether you’re building new or retrofitting an existing dock, Eagle Floats provide dependable performance backed by over a decade of customer trust.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ’s):
Q: Does hardware come with it?
A: No, our custom attachment hardware is sold separately.
Q: Do Eagle Floats require custom hardware for attaching?
A: Eagle floats can be attached with a 4" 3/8 lag bolt and standard washer, however our custom attachment hardware is specifically designed to maximize contact and security of attachment.
Q: Compatible with metal or wood frames?
A: Yes — slots fit both standard aluminum and steel frames and wood frames; however, be sure to adapt your attachment hardware accordingly.
Q: Do I need to remove my floating dock in winter?
A: Generally, no — Eagle Floats are designed to stay in the water year-round, including through ice and freezing conditions. However, we encourage dock owners to assess environmental factors like currents, ice floes, and other unique conditions that might make it wiser to remove your dock during freezing months to prevent undue stress on the dock system.
